The Toowoomba Sports Club was established in 1992 as a joint initiative of five local sporting clubs. Its Ruthven Street home, a redevelopment of heritage buildings, opened on 5 August 2000.
In 2020 the Club added new areas, a second food offering, and improved lounge and dining facilities. Today it is a base for social, entertainment and sporting needs for Toowoomba and the surrounding region.
The big races on the screens, weekly member specials in Zest Restaurant, and raffles and bingo every week.
